I am fundraising for a class set of Chromebooks so that my students can become efficient in the knowledge to use technology appropriately and become equipped for college, or the workforce, after high school graduation. With the change in standards to common core, students must be proficient in computer use in order to complete the assessment given at the end of the year. It is integral that students are able to use computers on a daily basis in order to prepare them for the smarter balanced assessment and to give them the tools they need to properly research, analyze, make inferences, compare and contrast, as well as write college ready papers. Your donations would help this historic school's diverse population greatly, while making an ever lasting impact on our students becoming life long learners.
