I teach a culturally and academically diverse group of 7th grade students. I would like to raise enough money to purchase 10 to 12 Chromebooks for my science classroom. In order for students to move forward technologically, they need access to up-to-date equipment. "Bring Your Own Device" has been an option, however this usually comes in the form of cell phones. These are difficult to monitor and use when using interactive science programs or using google docs. Fifty four percent of the school population is eligible for the free/reduced lunch program. Many students still do not have working computers in their homes. Within our building, computer access must be reserved ahead of time. The best learning takes place in the moment, not at a reserved time. Please consider donating so we make this opportunity possible for these students. Thank you!
