Where in the World is West Frankfort??

Students will receive a packet with various maps, beginning with a map of the entire world. They will begin to narrow their search for their hometown, finding their continent, country, state, county, and city. They will even find their school and home on a map of their town. After completing the maps, they will write a narrative, explaining the importance of knowing where you come from and being able to locate your home on a map. They will post their activities on the classroom website.
