Geometry Lines in My Town Page Views: 244
|
Teacher will define perpendicular, parallel, intersecting and skew lines. Students will locate examples using math textbooks and geometry textbooks. Students will then find pictures in the school/classroom that represent the various lines and draw sketches of them. Students will then use digital cameras and at their home/through their neighborhood take photos of the various lines. Students will then type their definitions using a word processing program, scan their sketches into the computer, and upload their photos to make a power point to distribute to their classmates about lines. Students will then rewrite information to explain to a 3rd grader the various lines and compile the information into a book. |
