Using laptop, students will select Salon Styler Pro software. This software allows students to transfer a digital photo of someone, ‘mark’ the appropriate parameter with regards to facial features and change the hairstyle and make up.
Students will analyze the face shape and choose the appropriate hairstyle and color. With a pre-visual, students will be able to plan ahead the choice for clients. Using the make up mode, students can change the mouse to blush brush, lip liner, eye shadow swab etc. With the ‘click and drag’ method, students will paint the appropriate make up on photo. Students will analyze the correct color choice, and also see why certain colors look different on different skin types.
This will also demonstrate to students the capability of editing a photo, and changing the way a person looks.
This program is just like the expensive version that salons use. If students gain the knowledge of this software, it will make them valuable employees.
