Careers I Love

OBJ: The learner will use the occupational handbook on the internet to research an occupation that they might be interested in entering. The students will need to have a familiarity with computer skills as well as learning how to access the handbook on the internet.

P/A/T: Students will use the occupational handbook site through the internet. Students will respond to 12 occupational questions within their job cluster and compile a research paper on a specific occupation.

Activity Assessment. Students will go to wwww.bls.gov/oco
Students will take an interest survey to determine their likes and dislikes at the following address:http://www.tctc.edu/career_survey/index.html
After taking the interest survey they will then go back to http://www.bls.gov/oco which is the occupational hand book and choose their career choice.
After getting all information they will use powerpoint and make a presentation of their career choice and present it to the class.
