Who I Am Photo Story

This lesson will teach students the improtance of photography in the telling of ones life story. They will learn photo taking skills, and the aesthetics of photography. This lesson will take 1 week to 10 days(90 minute blocks) to complete and present.

Goals:
Students will demonstrate the understanding and use of a digital camera.
Students will be able to take photos and use them to tell a story about him/herself.

Activities:
Student will participate in a hands-on demonstration on how to use to digital camera.(1 90 minute block)
Student will be ask to take pictures that represent themselves (no less than 100)
Students will be presented with a powerpoint and hands-on class to demonstrate how to build a slideshow with their own photos, music, and captions. They will then be given 3 days to work on and complete their stories. Each students photostory will be presented to the class.
