Prose Perfectly Podcasted.

Read some original picture books outloud to your class and have class brainstorm what is similar about all the books.
(length of story, pictures contributing to storytelling..etc.)

Have students brainstorm their own story ideas, after they have about three ideas have them choose their favorite one.

Have students write their own story. The story should be between 1/2 and 1 full type written page.

Have students brainstorm ideas of what kind of photographs they could use to illustrate their story.
Use photoshop to help manipulate photos for illustration.

Using Powerpoint have students create their digital books.

Print out and bind.

Have students create podcasts for the book they wrote.

Combine digital book and podcast, -or- bound book and podcast and send down to lower elementary grades (K-2)
