Objective:
The learner will orally identify 80% of his or her classmates within a 10 day period.

Materials:
digital camera
photo paper
legal/letter size envelopes
note cards
pocket chart and stand

Procedures:
1. In the first week of school take individual pictures of each child and print them out.
2. Place each child's picture on the front of an envelope along with their name. Put envelopes in a pocket chart.
3. Inside each envelope place a puzzle of the child's name. (note card with name letters cut out)
4. As a center have children pick a classmates picture and build his or her name. Then help them say name.

Evaluation:
Using a thumbnail image page have children identify their classmates.
Follow-Up
Match names with pictures.
Put names in ABC order.
Graph boys and girls in class.
Graph hair color, eye color, etc.
Materials: Point and Shoot, Word Processor, Slideshow, Clipart, Camera Bags, Flash/USB Drives, Batteries
