Fairy Tale
This is really fun! For this mission, each group (of 3-5 students) will need to retell a popular story, using only pictures! (It doesnt necessarily have to be a fairy tale, but it must be a story that everyone has heard of.) Also, each photo must have had some type of software manipulation (crop, paint, insert, cut, layer, filter....)
Requirements in a Nutshell:
The story must have at least 20 pictures The story must be made into a book Each photo must have its own page
Necessary Equipment:
Digital Camera USB Cord/Media Card Reader Photoshop, Microsoft Paint (any photo software) Color Printer Paper/Props
*everyone in the group must suggest at least one story- all must be presented to me
*everyone in the group must make at least two props
*everyone in the group must be in at least 15 pictures
*each person in the group must digitally alter at least two photos |

This is so fun, and the students really get creative and original! I've had students retell The Princess and the Pea, Shrek and even Star Wars. (I, too, get quite a kick out of it:) |
