The students in the Warren Easton Library Reading Club will visit the areas destroyed by Hurricane Katrina and will take pictures with a digital camera. The pupils will capture in their photos how the City of New Orleans is rebuilding one day at a time.
The Photographs will be developed and each student will write a one page paragraph describing what the photo means.
The photographs will be on display in the library for faculty and students to view.
Cross-Curriculum Ideas
This project involves Language Arts, Photogray Art, and History.
Follow-Up
Students will do a presentation of their photos to the Art classes.
