Comments
My students love this activity! They treasure their books and read them all year long. This activity makes reading personal and meaningful for beginning or struggling readers. It teaches sight words, one-to-one correspondence, and how to match words with picture. If students have difficulty with one-to-one matching place one dot sticker underneath each word. Children must touch the dot as they read.
Cross-Curriculum Ideas
Great for special needs children, ESL children, and beginning readers.
Follow-Up
Once students have mastered the book have them read it to younger children to boost confidence!
Materials: Point and Shoot, Word Processor, xD Memory Cards, Flash/USB Drives, Batteries
