1. A Crime scene is set up prior to the arrival of the "CSI detectives".
2. Student groups/teams will observe and take pictures of the crime scene and all of the evidence.
3. In the "lab" students will analyse and critique all the crime scene evidence.
4. The emphasis in each lab is on a different type of evidence process, but each lab will begin the same, with the staged crime scene and pictures taken of the evidence and surrounding area.
5. One of the first labs preformed will be the use of photography in analysis, and justification of the innocence/guilt verdict.
6. To properly analyze the photography, prints and enlargements are examined. The students will be taught how to take pictures and assure the highest quality of images available using photography.
This experience will be repeated throughout the year and become part of the performance event.
