Students will each be given a digital camera to take pictures in items in their world that represent the shape discussed in class. This could be used in all grades, pre K to grade 5. Students could then create a powerpoint presentation to show off the items they collected digitally to support the learning of a shape or figure. This practice could go on throughout the year as new concepts are introduced.
Follow-Up
Students can present their completed presentation at a technology evening for parents.
