Students will compose a draft of their personal life, by using a variety of resources such as personal knowledge, parent information, journals, etc. They need to understand that the finished product will be in the form of a PowerPoint presentation. Students will then follow the Writing Process to complete their writing. They will have a rough draft, student and teacher conferences, a student edit, revise, and then teacher edit in preparation for creating their presentation. Students will take digital pictures and/or scan in pictures that they want to use to enhance their autobiography. Students will have a Rubric to follow that will include the number/type of slides they will need and the photos required to earn the grade they desire. Students will check out digital cameras to take home in the evening to obtain the pictures they need.
