Just like the famous director Steven Spielberg, you will have a chance to star in, direct, write, and produce your very own informational/narrative Podcast

Required Components:
1.A Plan: (Most Important Piece) You must First Develop a written Plan of What your Are going to say in your Podcast!
a.Use the guide provided as a visual way to organize your Podcast. Hint: Find the Pictures you need to use in your Podcast 1st. This will help your organize your information better.

2. Before you begin Creating your Podast you must have all the following Items completed and checked off!
-Plan: Your visual guide of how you are going to be setting up your Podcast!

-All information present and ready for you to being

Podcasting

Programs used!
1.GarageBand 3 (Remember you will need to begin by Selecting “New Podcast Episode in the start up menu)

2.Save the Program as:
Using: LastnameFirstInitalTile of Podcast (i.e.
amatorAllaboutRocks)
Remember you must save the program to the folder on
your desktop. To view more options when saving please
make sure the following buttons are clicked.!
3. Rules for Garage Band
Remember this is not time for you to spend on creating
songs and weird sounds. You are only allowed to use

PRERECORDED SOUNDS /EFFECTS
•When recording audio you will need to go out into the hallway and find a quiet place to work, since this is the time you will need complete silence! You are not allowed to record other students during this time. This is solely your Podcast!
•This podcast will be done totally by using Garage Band and images taken from the computer!


3.Digital Camera Use!

•You will be allowed to use a digital camera to take pictures of Rocks or other items to be used during your podcast.
