* Teacher and students will take digital pictures in the classroom throughout the schoolyear.
* Students will choose pictures each week to mount in their memory book and write about.(they may also decorate their page when finished)
* While students write, the teacher will move around to conference with students about their writing. This may also be done in a workshop/small group setting.
* Pictures will have relavance to memorable activities/moments in the child's classroom learning,which will help them to connect to their writing.
* This activity will give students an opportunity to write about something REAL to them. They will be excited about writing and want to write, which in turn will enhance their writing skills.
Follow-Up
Students may also choose to type their writing to go along with their pictures.
Materials: Point and Shoot, Digital SLR, Mobile Labs, Word Processor, xD Memory Cards, Flash/USB Drives, Batteries
