Grades 6 through 8
School: Watson B Duncan Middle School, Palm Bch Gdns, FL
Planned By: Carol Tilley
Original Author: Carol Tilley, Palm Bch Gdns
each student will take pictures of his daily routine. the picutres will become his "picture board and routine". the students will learn how to download the picutes from the camera to a computer and print. He will be able to recognize the pictures and talk about the picture in a story. he will then be taught to use the keyboard and sound to enchance his story. he will learn how to use a CD to save his work. we will keep a running documentary on all the students progress. keepsakes will be made for the parents. they will be able to see how they have grown and how much they have learned. the use of a camera and a computer will be useful in the future as i hope it will broaden their world for future employment.
Comments
i would love to see my students learn and grown this coming year. it seems in middle school little growth takes place academically. this would be a wonderful way to 'show' and document physical, social and academic growth. i have my students for 3 to 4 years and it would be nice to see a successful end result before going on to high school.
