Students will be given the task of writing their own story. Story maps will be used to create an outline. Students will decide the setting, plot and characters that will appear in the story. Class time will be used to develop this story so it is presented in a logical, sequential order. Care will be taken during editing to correct all gramatical errors. The students will then type their stories in Photo Story. Once the stories are complete and the pages have been created they will then use the digital cameras to create the illustrations needed to accompany each page of their Photo Story. Once the pictures have been taken, they will learn how to download them into their Photo Story. Background music will be added and the children will record themselves reading their own stories! They can then share these stories with the class! |
