Using a Powerpoing Presentation to mimic the Jeopardy game, create questions with different point values under 5 different categories.
Divide students into groups of 3. Give each group of students a pad of paper. You will have one group start by picking a category of questions. Each question is worth a predetermined amount of points. (Obviously the harder the question the more points the question is worth). All groups will write down what they believe is the correct answer after a minute or so have all student reveal their answers.
The teacher will keep track of points on the baord. Note: more then one group could have the right answer and many groups will score on any given question. As the answers are revealed talk about the correct answer and discuss any questions at that time. Do this untill all questions are answered.
** You can do this for just about any class but its a favorite among my students. |
