Digital Monochromatic Self Portraits Page Views: 814
|
The teacher will introduce the lesson by showing students self portraits by famous artists. Artists from Michelangelo to Andy Warhol will be discussed so students can observe the integration of technology in self portraits. The students will select a pose that best illustrates their personality. The students may wear sunglasses, ball caps, anything that helps to show their true inner self. The students will print their digital self portraits and use an opaque projector to enlarge image. The students will then trace portraits and select one color to use in their portraits. The students will create light and dark values by mixing black and white paint with selected color. These images will make an awesome display for any school! |

This technology will allow my students to work with new technologies that will benefit them in high school and help to prepare them for college. Kids love using technology and I want to be able to help increase their technology skills. |
