Each student will use connecting cubes and build a three-dimensional object. The students will then take pictures of their structure from the front, back, sides and top. They will take a final picture of the whole object. The students will print the pictures and attach them to cards labeling the point of view. The students will then exchange their picture cards with the other students who will try to reproduce using the pictures the original three-dimensional object. Students will be evaluated on a rubric. Students will also evaluate each others work and provide positive suggestions. |

Cross-Curriculum Ideas |
In Language Arts the teachers have the students identify the point of view of the literature. Using this math example the teachers are able to have the students explore how the stories would be different if they were written in another characters point of view.

Follow-Up |
