Students will research names of Veterans, including Veterans in Victory Nursing Home in Walterboro, SC. After contact with Veteran, students will ask permission to interview a veteran using a cam corder or digital camera. Students will use Photo Story or Movie Maker to make a documentary of the Veteran's life. Students will use letter writing, digital camera activities, email or pen pal type activities to contact the veterans. The students will go to the nursing home to meet World War II veterans and interact with the veterans to write their life story. |
