Project: To create a slideshow (in Keynote) to illustrate multiplication table/repeated addition for the tables 1-10.
Grade Level: 3 - 5

Students will be arranged in pairs/groups and assigned the number 1-10. Students are directed to identify examples to photograph to illustrate their tables (ie: on buidling memory quilt there are 5 rows of 4 quilt blocks - 5x4=20). If the students fail to find examples, they may stage them using math manipulatives, classroom supplies (textbooks, erasers, etc).

Photographs will be imported from the camera into one Open Directory account and the students will work together to complete the project.

The slideshow must contain:

Title Slide - with title to include Number and list of all contributing students
10 Illustration Slides - X x 1 through X x 10 - with a photograph and text box with a story to illustrate the math sentence, and the math sentence
Final Slide - Thank you
A minimum of 5 transitions must be included
A minimum of 5 fonts/colors must be used for text

Modification for Grade Levels:

Grade 4/5 - individual photographer credit must be included on each photo
Build must be incorporated into slide
