Students will collect and identify rocks and minerals found in the school building, on the school grounds, or use classroom sample examples. They will describe the characteristics of the rocks and minerals that led them to identify the item correctly. The photographed items will be the basis of the slideshow. The materials must be photographed in a way that the identifying characteristics are visible.

2 slides per sample

Slide 1/sample: Describe the characteristics
Slide 2/sample: Identification and where found

Title Slide: Include title, student name, date

Closing Slide

Each slide must use a different font, have a minimum of 3 complete sentences, and at least one photograph.
