These shoes are made for walking!

Knowledge:

Students will research the country to learn about communities in other countries.

They will be able to describe the land, food,culture and the people.

Participation:
Children will learn the meaning of volunteering for a good cause.
The students will collect and box slightly worn shoes to be taken to the country in August by their teacher.
Fundraisers my be necessary for shipping them to Guetamala City.

Closure:

The group will celebrate Fall'09 with a power presentation of the delivery of their shoes.
