Graduation Project's Community Service Page Views: 449

Purpose:For each written reflection of each visit's volunteer work, the senior will take pictures to illustrate what he or she did as the student completes his/her 20-25 hours of Community Service that's required for graduation. Additionally, these pictures will be used in the Portfolio that is part of the project. Pictures will also offer real time illustrations of work completed during the Power Point used to support the Oral Presentation component of the project.
Pre-Instruction: How to use camera and how to take good pictures to illustrate student's work-Students will spend several days becoming familiar with the camera and the techniques used for good pictures.Students will also learn how to use jumpdrives if they don't already know how.
Experience: Students will be required to have a minimum of 10 pictures from their work site that are of good quality and illustrate what work was completed by composing written reflections. All work will be kept on jumpdrive.
Post-Experience: After writing the required reflection, students will choose pictures to illustrate their writing. Students will also write appropriate captions for the pictures.Again, all work is kept on jumpdrive and their school network folder. |
