1. Students will study how to identify plants, trees, and bushes.
2. Students will then take pictures of plants growing on the school grounds. Making sure, they take pictures of what will help identify them.
3. Students will identify the plants with the help of identification guides, resources, etc.
4. Students will then explain their procedure and identify at least three plants with their scientific names.
5. This is nicer than having students uproot or pick leaves.
Follow-Up
Catalog the species.
Add to the plants.
Make a school garden.
