Geometric Shapes

Students are always wanted to know how can I use this in real life.
So, I would have the students go out side and take pictures of all sorts of objects and diffents shapes they can find around the school.
We would then come inside look at the different pictures using a laptop and smart board, and name the objects.
This would give them practical, visual, and real life examples of the objects that are used everyday in Geometry.
