Newcomer iPhoto Book

Every school has newcomers - those students that register for school after the year has begun. This booklet will help these newcomers feel more comfortable and welcome to your school.


1. Have students take pictures of your campus and staff members
2. As a class, create a mock-up of the book.
3. Keep text simple for young readers
4. Plan on each page having a caption to name person or place in image
5. Use the checklist below as a guide for whom and what to photograph when creating the mock-up

6. Download photos to iPhoto
7. Create an iPhoto book in iPhoto
8. After the book is complete, print it out and make copies to distribute to newcomers!
