Students work in groups of 2 (or 3 if needed).

Students must:

1) Install software
2) Demonstrate the ability to communicate between hardware and the programming environment.
3) Construct a moving robot
4) Program the robot to do a series of maneuvers; each maneuver will be inspected.
5) Propose an action (dance, moonwalk, spiral, etc.), get teacher approval, and do it!

Students graded on: schedule, programming efficiency, robot efficiency, and neatness.
Cross-Curriculum Ideas
Pair-up seniors with an underclassmen, show him or her their project, and work with them to create a new movement of the underclass-person's choosing.
Follow-Up
Create a video of the final projects. Quiz: create a program to do a specific task. Quiz: identify what the robot will do if programmed with the given code sequence.
