Students in the Forensics science course will select a real-life crime scene to recreate. Students will develop a storyboard for the re-enactment as well as a script for each character. The students will create a video of the re-enactment, including events leading up to the crime as well as the investigation that followed. Students will use actual equipment for the re-enactment such as microscopes, fingerprinting kits, etc. The video will be edited and recorded onto a DVD to be viewed by the class. The Forensic science skills will be developed throughout the making of the video. This assignment will take place over the semester.
