Excellent Character Podcasting

This year my class theme is Kings and Queens of Excellent Character. The focus will be on what is considered excellent character and how students can show their excellent character.

Supplies: Ipods (1 per pair of students)
Microphones (1 for each Ipod)
Paper/Pencil or computer to write script
Time: 30-45 min 3 times in one week.

Day 1 - Students will be assigned a partner. WIth this partner they will brainstorm about what they can do to show excellent character. The students will come up with a short script of how they can show their excellent character. This will improve their writing, communicating, and teamwork skills.

Day 2 -Students will practice and have many attempts in recording until they feel their Podcast is acceptable. Both students should record the script so that every student is recorded. Students will share their podcast with another pair of students.

Day 3- Students will share their podcast with other groups with in the class and then the recordings can be shared within the school.

This project will help my students critical thinking, writing, speaking, and reading skills. Students will start
