Students much then research various forms of business ownership and select the form they wish to focus on for this activity. Create a listing of advantages and disadvantages of each form as a way to help make your decision (focus on start up ease, risk and reward)

They then determine what type of business they wish to open/plan. Give it a name.

Create the dba, articles of incorporation or partnership agreement based upon the form they selected in first step.

Create business sign, hours of operation sign, business description, personnel polices, product listing complete with details and pricing information, business cards, letter head, basic map of facility, and an advertisement.

Allow one week for completion. Students then share their ideas with their class as presentations.
