At initial meeting of TEAM this year, students will gather under the direction of Mrs. Hartings. On the computers, they will begin building PowerPoint slideshows about themselves. The students will use the digital cameras to take pictures of each other, the classes they are in, their friends, hobbies, and homes. The students will then download this information at school, and use it to build Hello! Powerpoints. These presentations will then be used in TEAM meetings. Each student will present their PowerPoint, and others will watch and learn. After all PowerPoints have been presented, students will have learned: 1. information about every other student in the TEAM 2. that every student is different. 3. that every person should be respected for his unique interests, abilities and skills. 4. the basics of using MS PowerPoint. 5. how to use and download pictures from the digital cameras which have been provided. |
