Original Author: Susan Hodgson, Greenville
Project Description:

A story in our anthology sparked lots of class interest and discussion that crossed curricular areas: Moses Goes to a Concert. The story is about a deaf child and his classmates attending a concert. It was the perfect venue for writing, social studies, science, and math. We would like to make a class book of our activities and document them as we go along with pictures and words. One of the favorite activities is constructing musical instruments from simple materials. Making a book with pictures of the students in various stages of construction, and experimentation would be a wonderful classroom project.
