Learning Body Parts

Students will use digital cameras and during take pictures of teachers and their different basic body parts. Teacher will provide them with a list of body parts in Spanish that they will need to acquire from a variety of teachers, including administrators, nurses, secretaries, and counselors.

Students will then upload pics onto computer and crop pictures so that only one body part is being shown and the teacher's identity is hidden.

They will then create a slide show of their body parts and ask the questions: What body part is this? and Who is the teacher?

The teacher will then combine all of the slide shows from all classes and use for practice the next class period.

Teacher will play slide show on screen using LCD projector and computer and have teams compete to see who can get the most slides right.

For further practice, the next day, the teacher will put the slide show up on the projection unit and have the students take a pop quiz (worth points for correct body parts, but worth extra credit if they can remember the correct teacher.)
