1. Students will Research the history of the Faberge Eggs of Russia. Using the internet, textbook, and other books on Russian culture.

2. Using their research students will type a 2 page essay. The essay must be typed, and printed by the students or create a power point or movie maker project.

3.Students will then re-create their own Faberge egg. They may use materials of their choosing. I will however, suggest a few, rhinestones, clay, a decorated plastic Easter egg, and sequins (students will be given extra credit if I can open their egg.)

4.Students will then present their project using an LCD projector or in lecture form, by pointing out why they choose to decorate their egg, in the style, and discussing the history (example- what does each jewel represent, and why was the first egg created).
