Day 1-5: Crew 1 Day 6-10: Crew 2

Students enter technology lab at 7:45 a.m. to begin preparation for show that begins at 8:03 a.m. Each student has a job for that particular day: anchor, camera, mixer, script, lunch & weather. Students work on computers to write the script, research historical events of that day, and any news that would be beneficial or important to elementary students. Students talk with office personnel, media center staff, and other teachers about important news that should be presented on the morning show. Camera person sets up and tests the video camera with the student in charge of the video mixer to make sure camera and microphones are working properly. Anchor and script workers type and edit script for the show, allowing the anchor time to practice some lines. LCD projector and Smartboard are prepped for working with PowerPoint presentation showing county map and weather fronts are displayed.
At 8:03 a.m., students begin the show using an LCD projector, laptop, and classroom screen as a teleprompter for the show. Announcements, lunch and weather, pledge of allegiance, and a moment of silent reflection are presented to the school, ending the show at 8:10 a.m. Following the show, student workers take down the necessary equipment and store for the next day's show.
