Students will document activities and experiments that show their understaning of the science topics taught in class. Students will create a portfolio each nine weeks for the unit we are discussing. The four main units are Forces and Motion, Astronomy, Earth Processes, and Wave Energy. Students will take pictures of activites that they feel show their understanding of a topic. They will add a detailed summary explainig why they picked an activity, how this activity helped them better understand the topic and how it relates to their every day life. Students may present their portfolio in any creative way they would like an example might include a power point presentation or an imovie.
