Fall Leaves

Students will complete a study of plants using leaves they have photographed.

Step 1: Students will photograph various plants and their leaves.
Step 2: Students will print pictures of the plants and their leaves.
Step 3: Students will then use plant identification guides to discover the common name and/or scientific name of the plants.
Step 4: Students will research plants using Book and Internet resources.
Step 5: Students will then create a database of plant names, characteristics that can be sorted.
Step 6: Students will use plant pictures and database to create an electronic photo album and a print book based on the album.
