Why I need this:
If I had a projector, I could attach it to an ELMO projection device. I can afford an ELMO out of pocket, but I cannot afford a projector. I teach 5th grade Reading, Language, and Social Studies. The use of an ELMO & projector would allow me to project books & other materials for the entire class to be able to see. I can also model writing, conduct demonstrations, and use any small object for full, color projection onto a larger screen. This allows every child to see. I would use this every single day to model and demonstrate lessons. This completely replaces the overhead projector. I could also use the projector to connect to the computer. I could project PowerPoint slideshows, short instructional videos, and Word documents where I could model writing and editing. I can think of dozens of uses for a projector. It would not go to waste! |
