Student Shared Listening Center Why I need this:
My special education students are often at a loss when it comes to independent reading time. The materials availale to them are at a third grade reading level or higher but they often can only read at a kindergarten level. For these situations I provide a listening center with dozens of books on tape. However, over the years the headphones available for this center have taken quite a beating and barely work anymore. These headphones would increase the effectiveness of this valuable tool.
