One of the biggest issues that I face daily in teaching high school is students inability to process, assimilate, and transfer information from a classroom setting. The many issues related to their inabilities include frequent absences, learning disabilities, language difficulties, and general distractions in a classroom setting. Having a webcam to use for recording my daily lessons would give me a fantastic opportunity to reach students on their on time and in their own mode of processing, assimilating, and tranferring. I could post videos daily onto my website so that students could return to the classroom and retreive whatever they weren't able to gather during class time for whatever reason.
