High School, College, and Career Pathway

8th graders are required to select an educational pathway before entering high school. This lesson plans simulates the effects their decisions can play in choosing a career and what high school pathway and the amount of post high school education is needed to meet the career requirements.

5. Research what appeals to you in choosing a college/university.
6. Research/select a college/university that can fulfill the education requirements.
7. Choose a college/university you will attend.
8. Research the entrance requirements for that school.
9. Plan you high school pathway that will fulfill the college entrance requirements.
10. Plan you 4 year high school pathway using spreadsheets.
11. Prepare a multimedia presentation that covers your educational life from high school to your career choice.
