School: Wildwood Elementary School, Mahtomedi, MN
Planned By: Valerie Brass
Original Author: Valerie Brass, Mahtomedi
Product that would be produced: A series of how to videos about our classroom, where things are, how to put them away, what are their jobs, etc... to be used for exposure or review for future kids in this classroom.

Groups of 2-3 Kdgn kids would video tape themselves in different areas of the classroom. They would produce a video for next years kdgn kids. For example: The Bathroom- How to turn on the lights, how to use the paper towel dispenser, how to work with our sticky bathroom door lock, where to find extra toilet paper, etc...

Morning Jobs- The order of morning jobs, how to mark your lunch choice, how to hang up your things in our squishy hooks area, where to find your mail, what to do when your jobs are finished, etc... The videos will be played for the new Kdgn class as each area is introduced to them. The videos can be sent home with kids or put out for parent access so kids can watch videos of areas that they are uncomfortable in, special needs or Ell students can use them for review of an area.
