Students launch Word. They've previously worked on how to type capital letters and end punctuation. They type, "I spy with my little eye something that is..." If needed, color choices may be displayed in the room. Students are guided in changing the color of their font; they choose their font color and type in their color name so that their sentence reads: I spy with my little eye something that is red. The teacher then shows them how to search for pictures that are that color and explains how to insert a picture. They choose two pictures that color and and insert it into their document. Students may do more than one sentence and color if time permits. Students print work and save it to the network drive.
