Objective: Students will use PowerPoint to write a story, use clipart to create digital illustrations, and add animations to their storybook.

Materials:
Internet
Word Processor
Microsoft PowerPoint
Projector

Activity:
1.Students will use a story-starter from Scholastic.com to brainstorm a creative story.

2.Students will type their story in a word processor, like Microsoft Word.

3.Students will transfer 2-4 sentences to each slide of a PowerPoint.

4.Students will use clipart collections and graphic programs to create illustrations for their story in Microsoft PowerPoint.

5.Students will animate their illustrations in PowerPoint.

6.Students will add sound effects to their storybooks.

7.Students will present their stories to the class.
