Apps for Egypt

During our unit on Ancient Egypt we will be studying architecture, culture, government, innovation, technology, social interaction, and life itself. Within each part of the unit we will be learning about each particular aspect of Egyptian Life. Students will create stories about these aspects as we go through our month long unit. Each group of students will be in charge of creating a digital childrens story about one aspect of Egyptian life. Each group will have the ability to act out a play, white board write a stick figure story, sing a rap/song, dance a musical number, create a storybook, etc. We would like to record each of the stories that children make and create one large DVD collection of their works of art to share with our local elementary schools. The final product will be a DVD with each chapter title being a different groups recorded story!
