Day 1. Students will create thumbnail sketches using their ipad. Students will use the internet to explore " THE WORLD'S FASHION ". Days 2 &3. Students will team up by selecting a partner to study a major fashion concept from any country Day 1. Students will create thumbnail sketches using their ipad. Students will use the internet to explore " THE WORLD'S FASHION ". Days 2 &3. Students will team up by selecting a partner to study a major fashion concept from any country listed in the world of fashion. Day 4. Students will create a visual story board with graphic arts, textiles and any other accessory items that represent that specific fashion line and present their video to the class. Days 5-6. Students (in pairs) will engage the class in a lesson that will inform us all about various textiles and fashion items related to selected fashion centers and its importance on the world's fashion market based on internet research. Day 7- 11. Students will create a specialized fashion line with the use of the ipad technology applications. listed in the world of fashion. Teacher will review specific information technology tools, and the use of different software techniques. Set up critical thinking concepts through verbal questioning and conversations about the lesson. Review previous examples to make connections between theory and practical applications. Teacher will rotate questions with some concentration on various students needing specific assistance. Encourage independent thinking through examples from other lessons. Teacher will encourage use of specific dialogue to assist with students visual/ oral presentations.
Introduce a fashion blog from information technology resources . Review/discuss situations pertaining to design, respond to related problems, continued use of related technology ie pod casting.
Students will be evaluated based on how well they complete the following: * Use of appropriate terminology, collaboration with partner, dialogue and accurate information pertaining to the topic, the quality of video presentation, appropriate items select to reference the selected fashion line.
Students will be reinforced about quality products. Recognized for completion of tasks, and understanding of the step by step process.
Students will be given extra time to evaluate their work and make all the necessary adjustments. Some students will have to repeat steps to build their fashion line. |
